i slipped on the stairs on the way into the building from the garage this morning; i caught myself on the railing so at least i didn't fall down the stairs, however, i've wrenched my back badly... need painkillers and a cocktail, a warm heating pad and bed, instead i'm stuck at work...

on the bright side of things, life should get back to normal once we're both healed
