hee hee hee - stolen from sirenfox

Here are 16 actual error messages reportedly seen on the computer screens in Japan, where some are written in Haiku. Aren't these better than "your computer has performed an illegal operation"?

The Web site you seek cannot be located, but countless more exist.

Chaos reigns within. Reflect, repent, and reboot. Order shall return.

Program aborting: Close all that you have worked on. You ask far too much.

Windows 98 or NT crashed. I am the Blue Screen of Death. No one hears your screams.

Yesterday it worked. Today it is not working. Windows is like that.

Your file was so big. It might be very useful. But now it is gone.

Stay the patient course. Of little worth is your ire. The network is down.

A crash reduces your expensive computer to a simple stone.

Three things are certain: Death, taxes and lost data. Guess which has occurred?

You step in the stream, but the water has moved on. This page is not here.

Out of memory. We wish to hold the whole sky, But we never will.

Having been erased, The document you're seeking must now be retyped.

Serious error. All shortcuts have disappeared.

Screen. Mind. Both are blank.

it's thursday again

and i've finally caught up on all your posts and interviews and stuff so here's my update (and feel free to ask me questions - i'll try to respond more quickly than i update!!)

thursday - alchemy - zooom & i rode his bike to the club and i melted the heels on my patent stilts (must either get them fixed or order another pair :( - note to self - wear tread airs only on back of bike - their heels don't melt when they come in contact w/ the exhaust pipes) - the music was good for a change - i danced a lot, on both the inside floors, still don't like the new drum & bass theme outside though - wouldn't mind it once in a while i guess, but every week?? i already miss the rotating themes we had on the deck last summer (even another metal night would be better than another week of drum & bass!!)
friday - failed attempt to pick up zooom's car from the shop (not working right yet), prep for christian's birthday party
saturday - more party prep (thanks to all who assisted) followed by party - the evening was fairly successful (except for yet again half the people not making contributions to the cost of the event - if everyone would have contributed $5-10 we would have been ok, as it is, we spent about $500 out of pocket to throw the bash - if you did contribute, thank you very much, it is appreciated!!) - smaller crowd than the toga party last fall (this was deliberate - if you weren't invited we problably didn't know how to get in touch with you and we specifically asked everyone we invited not to spread the word so as to avoid the problems of the last time - to get on the invite list, post your e-mail info here or e-mail me and i'll add you if i know you well enough)... everyone had a good time though
sunday - fed stragglers breakfast, tucked zooom into bed, then headed to dc pride with azuresandstorm and utsforker for a few hours... the street fair was a bit disappointing - smallish crowd, fewer vendors, etc than i expected (they had the parade saturday evening - i think that is why) then wandered over to chinatown for a bit of bargain shopping in the market - new jewlry box, tea & strainer, chopsticks, etc
monday - clean up from party more, catch matinee of x2 - i liked it - the pace was a bit slower than the first, but the story line seemed much stronger, finally manage to pick up and bring home zooom's car
tuesday - more cleaning, some sewing, some time outside enjoying the sun
wedsnesday - back to work (it's definate - i'll be unemployed after july 11th - anyone need garb for war? - i could use some extra cash)
today - more work, heading to alchemydc for gothic prom tonight
